"Associazione Casa Olli von Sternenhof" has found a suitable house for our currently 14 furry friends in Valcalanca, 6542 Buseno. The way to the realization of the animal shelter was not easy, there were many hurdles to overcome and yet, with your help, a long-awaited dream has come true after almost 4 years of work and search.

Felix arrives at a house in Ligornetto Ticino. Era stato trovato in campagna dentro una casa abbandonata con i suoi due fratellini senza la mamma gatta. Aveva appena due mesi. Ora sono passati 8 anni da allora. Non it più and giocherellone e non salta più su le tende ma è molto intelligent ed è rimasto un coccolone

Lei è stata trovata a Ponte Tresa Svizzera sotto le scale di una abitazione con i suoi fratellini e la mamma gatta. La piccola ha purtroppo una allergia alimentare e deve mangiare il cibo speciale. Si è sviluppata bene ed è diventata una gatta bella sicura di se. In February 2017 ha avuto dei attacchi epilettici, Il veterinario ha fatto tutti i test necessari ma purtroppo non sono riusciti trovare la causa. Ora deve prendere due volte al giorno le pastiglie e sta good luck.
ZAIRA, 08/17/2011, CAGNOLINA, COLOR MIELE
Zaira era una randagina ed è stata avvelenata a sua tenera età di soli 5 mesi. Per fortuna è sopravvissuta e il suo viaggio dalla Regio Calabria fino a Lugano è stato organizzato da una carissima volontaria del Luganese. Era una cagnolina timida ma dolce e tenera. Con tanto affetto, amore, pazienza e l'aiuto dei educatori cinofili ha imparato a superare la sua timidezza. Zaira è rimasta una cagnolina tenerife e ha acquistato la fiducia.

Chiccha provene da un canile a Castrovillari Italia. Aveva approx. 1 anno e 1/2 and non aveva lasciato il rifugio dalla nascita. Di conseguenza aveva tanta paura delle persone, di altri cani e dei rumori sconosciuti. Il suo raggio di distance verso gli estranei era di about 20 metri ... lei era terrorizzata e la sua unica via d'uscita era "la fuga"! Con l'aiuto dei corsi seguiti in tellington cloth, Pet Therapy and educatori cinofili, Chiccha ora può camminare rilassata al mio fianco ... I trucchi magici non esistono ... c'è solo "amore, pazienza, affetto e sicurezza"

Paquito viene da Napoli Italia. Una Signora di 90 anni non poteva più prendersi cura della colonia felina per motivi di salute. Paquito era molto piccola e malato. Aveva bisogno di una casa amorevole al più presto possibile. Lui sembra un incrocio con una Main Coon non solo per il suo aspetto fisico ma anche per il morbo tipico dei felini Main Coon cioè gengivite. Paquito ottiene mangime speciale ed almeno 1 volta al giorno un gel nella bocca...
NICOLE, 07/01/2013, BIANCO GRIGIO TIGRATO
Nicole aveva 1 anno e aveva appena partorito la sua seconda cucciolata. Sono stati portati in salvo tutti quanti. I cuccioli avevano trovato una bella casa... purtroppo la mamma adulta e timida non ha avuto richest di adozione. Con l'accordo con le volontarie ho caricato Zaira e Chiccha in macchina e sono partita per le Dolomiti a prenderla. Nicole sembrava molto fragile … era spaventata a morte e non si lasciava toccata. Con le persone sconosciute it tutt'oggi molto timida, ma si gode le mie carezze e le coccole e sopra tutto la serenità di essere amata e al sicuro.
STELLA, 10/04/2014, CAGNOLINA, BIANCO/NERA
La piccola cagna mezzo cieco e storpia province of Palermo Sicilia. E arrive da noi a novembre del 2015. Era una randagina e purtroppo non sappiamo qual è la causa dei suoi handycap. Le radioografie hanno rivelato che ha il bacino mal'saldato, ha un gomito contorto e soffre di osteoartrite. Una correzione chirurgica è in base alle verify mediche specialistiche not possible. Nonostante ciò, Stella si gode una vita spensierata e felice con gli altri quadrupedi
SOLEIL 03/01/2016 LEA E LEON 03/31/2016 DALLA PUGLIA
Soleil (tricolore) è completeamente cieca. La sua prima famiglia adottiva non la voleva più perché era troppo vivace. Lei è cieca, ma giocosa and piena di vitalità. Lea (bianco/crema) and Leon (nero/bianco) so no gemelli. Leon è diventano mezzo ceco per una forte infection (rinotrachee). Riceve regolarmente 3 volte al giorno le gocce negli occhi per prevent la cecità. Sua sorella, Lea, è strabica, e questo piccolo difetto lascia sembrare i suoi occhi azzurri ancora più belli. Tutti e tre sono stati portati su dalla Puglia fino a Milano dove mi sono poi recata a luglio 2016 ad accogliergli.
ROSY E LENA, 05/01/2016
Rosy è una gattina grigia Tigrata e la sua sorella Lena è nera-crema tigrata. Vengono da un sobborgo di Lugano e sono state alloggiate in agosto 2016 dalla "Associazione Amici Animali Ticino" provvisoriamente da me. Essi erano in realtà cinque.
Per tre di loro abbiamo Trovato una bella casa. Rosy e Lena, purtroppo, non hanno avuto richest di adozione e, quindi, sono rimasto con me. Mi sono cresciute molto al cuore e sinceramente non riuscirei più a darle via. Lena è molto timida e ha tanta paura degli esseri umani. Rosy si fida e ama essere coccolata. Entrambi ora godono di una vita felice e spensierata
PICCOLA, 08/15/2003Piccola è una cagnolina di fatto piccola e pesa solamente 3 kg.
La sua proprietaria non la poteva piû tenere per i motivi personali e la voleva fare addormentare. Ora è felicemente rinnata nel nostro rifugio dal 12.01.2019
RILIND, 01/01/2011Rilind è un cane anziano, dolce, gentle and cieco. Ha la catarata. Fa parte della nostra familia dal 08.03.2019. At the moment, prepare for the next operation at the animal hospital in Zurigo. Una piccola donazione da parte tua gli aiutera a vedere di nuovo la luce. grace
ZUCKA
Zucka è una cagnolina di ca 9/10 anni e ha semper vissuto in strada, finchè una association della protezione degli animali, ha dovuto portarla al sicuro perchè era a rischio di avvelennamento. Dicevano che era una cagnolina aggressissiva, ma lei voleva solamente proteggere i suoi cucioli.
A November 2019 é stata portata dalla stessa association dalla Serbia fino a Buseno, nel nostro piccolo Rifugio e ora fà parte della nosttra famigli
MAMMA PRINCESS 7 ANNI E 2 BIMBI ZLATKO 5 1/2 ANI E BELI 4 ANNI
La famiglia complete è arrivata dalla Serbia in agosto 2020 e sono tutti in uona salute. Purtroppo il piccolo Beli è cieco e ci sarebbe neccessario di fare dei accertamenti accurati per trovare la causa e per verificare, se esiste una cura per lui.

La piccola Anna è una micina di ca 2 mese e l'ho trovata in mezzo la strada accanto alla sa madre morta-investita. Anna sta molto bene, è sana e adora giocare con gli altri gatti

Felix comes from a cat shelter in Ligornetto, Ticino. He was found with his two siblings, without a mother, in an abandoned house in the countryside when he was just was two months old. 8 years have passed since then. Now he's not so playful and doesn't climb up the curtains anymore, but is a very bright one and cuddly Male cat.
FIBY, 04/18/2010, 4-COLOUR
She was found in Ponte Tresa Tessin, in a stairwell, with her cat mother and two siblings. Fiby unfortunately has a food allergy and therefore needs special food. She has developed well and has become more confident. In February 2017 have 2 epilepsy seizures changed her life. After a thorough examination, the vet could not find the cause. She now has to take medication twice a day and fortunately she is fine again.
ZAIRA, 08/17/2011, FEMALE, CREAM
Zaira, was a stray. She was poisoned when she was only 5 months old! Luckily she had survived and was born a month later flew to Lugano from Italy Reggio Calabria. She was very shy but lovable and good-natured. With a lot of love, affection, patience and of course with the help of dogs educator, she overcame her shyness. Today she is a self-confident dog lady.
KIKKA, 09/01/2011, FEMALE, RED/WHITE
The very shy Kikka comes from an animal shelter in Castrovillari Italy. She was about 1 1/2 years old at the time and had not left the shelter since she was born. She was accordingly afraid of people, from other dogs and from unfamiliar noises. your distance radius to strangers was about 20 meters...she got panicky and her only way out was "The Escape"! With the help of courses taken in Tellington Cloth, Pet Therapy and Dog training, Kikka can now go for a relaxed walk at my side... The magic tricks are called "Love, patience, affection and security"
PAQUITO, 07/15/2013, RED CAT
Paquito is from Napoli Italy. A 90-year-old "Signora" could no longer take care of her cat colony for health reasons. Paquito was very small and sick. He desperately needed a loving home. He seems half a Main To be a Coon ... not only in terms of looks, unfortunately he has the typical Main Coon disease, namely gingivitis. Paquito gets special food and at least 1x a day a tooth gel on the gums...
NICOLE, 07/01/2013, WHITE-GRAY TIGERLI
Nicole was only 1 year old and already had her second litter behind her. She could be brought to safety with her kittens and all puppies had found a nice home ... unfortunately the adult and shy Nicole had no adoption requests. I packed Zaira and Kikka in the car and drove to the Dolomites to get them. Nicole looked fragile... she was very scared and wouldn't let herself be touched. She is with strangers still very shy but enjoys my cuddles and the security.
STELLA, 10/04/2014, FEMALE, BLACK AND WHITE
Stella, a half-blind and crippled little bitch, comes from Palermo, Sicily. She came to us in November 2015. Unfortunately, the cause of her handicap is not known there you was a stray. X-rays revealed that her hip is crooked, she has a twisted elbow and suffers from osteoarthritis. Unfortunately, a surgical correction is not possible according to a specialist medical examination. She still enjoys romping around with the other four-legged friends and leads a carefree dog life.
SOLEIL 01.03.2016 LEA / LEON 03/31/2016 FROM PUGLIA
Soleil (tricolor) is totally blind . She no longer wanted her adoptive family because she was too lively. Although she is blind, she is very playful and full of joie de vivre. Lea (white/beige) and leon (black-and-white) are twins. Leon became half-blind after a severe infection (cat cold) and regularly gets eye drops 3 times a day so that he doesn't lose his eyesight completely. His sister, Lea, squints a little, but that makes her blue eyes look even prettier. The three of them were brought from Apulia to Milan, where I was allowed to pick them up in July 2016.
ROSY AND LENA, 05/01/2016
Rosy is a gray tiger and her sister Lena is black/beige tiger. They come from a suburb of Lugano and were provisionally accepted by the "Associazione Amici Animali Ticino" in August 2016 accommodated me. There were actually five of them. We found a nice home for three of them. Unfortunately, Rosy and Lena had no adoption requests and therefore stayed with me. They are very dear to me and I couldn't give them away. Lena is very shy and very afraid of people. Rosy is trusting and loves to be cuddled. Both enjoy now a carefree and carefree cat life
PICCOLA, 08/15/2003Piccola is a mini granny bitch and weighs 3 kg. Her owner could no longer keep her for personal reasons and wanted to put her to sleep. She lives happily with us since 01/12/2019
RILIND, 01/01/2011Rilind is an older generation. Is very nice, friendly and unfortunately blind. He has the cataract and we are currently organizing his eye surgery at the Zurich Animal Hospital. Your small donation could help him see the daylight again. Thanks.
ZUCKAZucka is between 9 and 10 years old and used to live on the streets of Serbia. A local animal welfare organization had to bring her to safety because she was at risk of poisoning. They said she was an aggressive dog, but she just wanted to protect her puppies. In November 2019 she was brought to us in Buseno by the same animal welfare organization from Serbin and since then she has been a part of our family
THE 7 YEAR OLD PRINCESS WITH HER TWO BOYS ZLATKO 5 1/2 YEARS OLD AND THE BLIND BELI 4 YEARS OLD
The whole family arrived from Serbia in August 2020 and are in good health. Unfortunately, little Beli is completely blind. With an accurate examination one could possibly find out whether a cure or an operation would be possible.

Anna is a kitten that I found in the middle of the street next to her mother who had been hit by a car. She is about 2 months old and healthy and very playful.
