ZLATKO = the golden one
Dear animal lovers, Zlatko has been part of our big fur nose family since August 25, 2020. He is a happy and bright little guy of about 5 1/2 years. I was allowed to pick him up in Serbia together with his younger brother Beli and his mother Princess. Like countless other street dogs, this small family lived under precarious circumstances. Unfortunately, the happy and carefree time of the small family did not last long. Zlatko suddenly got very bad back pain, could no longer stand on his hind legs and could not urinate. The vets first suspected a herniated disc. Unfortunately, the tomography revealed that there are suspicious spots in the spine and they fear it could be something bad. We also had the spinal fluid analyzed, but it didn't show any signs of a tumor. Further investigations are still ahead with the belief that our little golden boy Zlatko will soon be completely healthy again.
The vet costs are very high.
We make a deposit of CHF 400.00 and the remainder of the outstanding invoices amount to
CHF 1'395.00 . Our little shelter houses currently 9 dogs and 10 cats = 19 four-legged friends. We urgently need your help to cover Zlatko's vet bills. Every amount is valuable because you enable Zlatko, with your generosity and your love for animals, to receive further medical care. We want to see him laugh and run again. Cari amici degli animali, Zlatko fa parte della nostra grande famiglia pelosa dal 25 agosto 2020. È un ragazzino felice e brillante di circa 5 anni e mezzo. Mi è stato permesso di Andarlo a prendere in Serbia con suo fratello minore Beli e sua madre Princess. Come innumerevoli altri cani da strada, also questa piccola famiglia viveva in circostanze precarie. Purtroppo i tempi felici e spensierati della piccola famiglia non sono durati. All'improvviso Zlatko ha avuto un dolore alla schiela molto forte, non poteva più stare in piedi sulle zampe posteriori e non poteva urinare. I veterinari initially sospettavano un'ernia del disco. Immediately, la tomografia ha mostrato che ci sono punti sospetti nella colonna vertebrale e temono che possa essere qualcosa di gross. Abbiamo also fatto analizzare il liquido spinale, ma non ha mostrato alcun segno di tumore. Ulteriori esami sono in sospeso con la convinzione che il nostro piccolo ragazzo d'oro Zlatko sarà presto di nuovo completeamente in salute. I costi veterinari sono molto alti.
